Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://sautemeals.co (the "Site") and your purchase of meals from Saute Meals, Inc. ("Saute Meals," "we," "us," or "our").

1. Overview

Saute Meals sells prepared meals for pickup and or delivery. Our menu rotates weekly.

2. Accepting These Terms

By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

3. Orders, Menu, and Availability

  • New menu drops every Tuesday.
  • Pre-order deadline is Saturday at midnight.
  • Minimum order is 2 meals.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are shown at checkout before you submit payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit or debit card numbers.

5. Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds

You may request to cancel an order up until the pre-order deadline (Saturday at midnight).

To request a cancellation, email support@sautemeals.co and include your order number and full name.

After the pre-order deadline, we may not be able to cancel, change, or refund orders because meals are prepared to order. If there is an issue with your order, contact us and we will review and work with you to make it right where appropriate.

6. Pickup and Delivery

Pickup

If you miss the pickup window, we cannot hold meals past 8:30pm for quality and food safety reasons. Unclaimed orders are not eligible for refunds.

Delivery

  • Monday | 6:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Delivery fees are priced by distance.

Our routes are pre-planned for efficiency, so exact delivery times cannot be selected.

Failed deliveries

Delivery is facilitated through a third-party courier service. If a delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect or incomplete delivery information, inability to access the delivery location, or the recipient being unavailable, we are not responsible for redelivery and the order may be forfeited.

If you believe there was an issue with your delivery, please email support@sautemeals.co and we will review what happened and respond with next steps.

7. Food Safety, Storage, and Allergies

Food safety matters. Please refrigerate meals promptly and follow heating and storage instructions.

We do our best to provide accurate ingredient and nutrition information, but ingredients and suppliers can change. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, review the ingredient information and contact us with questions before ordering.

8. Promotions

Promo codes (if offered) may be limited by time, availability, and eligibility, and may be changed or discontinued at any time.

9. Communications

If you provide your phone number and or email address, we may send transactional (e.g., order updates) and, based on your preferences and where permitted by law, marketing messages. You can opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saute Meals is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for the order at issue.

11. Disputes and Arbitration

Please email support@sautemeals.co first and we will try to resolve any issue informally.

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Saute Meals agree that any dispute or claim relating to the Site or your purchase (except for claims that may be brought in small claims court) will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis.

No class actions: You and Saute Meals agree to bring disputes only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding.

The arbitration will be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and administered by a reputable arbitration provider (such as AAA or JAMS) under its applicable rules. The arbitrator may award the same remedies a court could award.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
